About the formations...

EDMI and the college of doctoral schools offer training throughout the year. These trainings are visible on ADUM and you can register for the trainings of your choice. However, before the end of your thesis contract, you must check certain points:

• You have completed at least 100 hours of training, including:

  • At least 25 hours are training offered by the doctoral school of mathematics and computer science (EDMI)
  • At least 25 hours are training offered by the college of doctoral schools (CED). Among these, 2 courses are compulsory and must be done during the first year of your PhD:
    • The “Research Ethics” training
    • Training “Scientific integrity in research professions”

• You have the option of taking a master’s course. You can then declare it as off-catalog training which will count for a maximum of 12 hours in the hours of training followed.

• Competent workshops also for 12 hours of training, they must be declared off-catalog

For a course to be validated by the doctoral school, you must have completed at least 75% of the course. Otherwise, no training hours will be allocated to you.
